Wendi Harriott as Empress of China
Wendi Harriott trained at the Brit School, and has enjoyed a career as a Singer, Dancer and Performance Coach for over 20 years. She recently appeared as a singer on The Voice 2018. Wendi has sung with some of the biggest artists in the world, including John Legend, Nicole Scherzinger, Peter Andre, Lulu, Rebecca Ferguson, Beverley Knight, The Killers, 30 Seconds To Mars, Rita Ora, Ce Ce Peniston, Kesha, Demi Lovato, Jennifer Hudson, and Sir Tom Jones, Emma Bunton and many more.
On television, Wendi has appeared on The Graham Norton Show, Jonathan Ross, The Brit Awards, X Factor, The MTV Music Awards, The EMA’s, The National Television Awards, The Royal Variety Performance, Lorraine, The One Show and more. She has been a featured artist on the BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge, and with the legendary Terry Wogan on BBC Radio 2.
Recent work includes Wendi taking the role as the assistant Musical Director for Emma Bunton from the Spice Girls new solo record “Baby Please Don’t Stop”.
Wendi also makes a cameo performance in Emma Bunton’s debut video for this release.
Wendi made her pantomime debut at the Stag Theatre, in Dick Whittington in 2018. She is very excited to be back playing the Empress of China in Sevenoaks this year!
