Sevenoaks Panto goes the final mile for Breast Cancer Now, in High Heels!
This year, the Stag’s pantomime team will be joining forces with local legend and Breast Cancer Now fundraiser Steph Harrison, as the charity has been chosen as Sevenoaks Panto’s 2021 charity.
Over the last few weeks, Steph has been on a mission to walk 100 miles to raise much need money for the charity. To launch the new partnership, on Thursday 10 June, the team from Sevenoaks Panto will be walking the FINAL MILE with Steph!
For Ant Payne aka Silly Billy, a mile won’t be too much bother, but panto dame and producer Jamie Alexander Wilson will also be joining the mile long route around the town IN HEELS!
On the new partnership Steph Harrison said “Having taken part in the ‘Walk 100 miles for Breast Cancer Now’ initiative, it is a real joy to finish the challenge with some of the cast of this years Sevenoaks Panto. On behalf of Breast Cancer Now I would like to thank the Stag’s panto team for their support.”
Ant Payne, who plays Silly Billy each year at the Stag, said “I don’t really like walking, and a mile seems quite far. But, charity aside, I know for a fact those high heels really hurt Jamie’s feet, so for that reason, I’m really looking forward to it”.
Steph, Silly Billy and the team will be walking a mile long route through the town centre, and finishing their walk in a pub! So why not head into town on Thursday 10 June to cheer them on, donate some money, and buy them a drink!
