Simon began his musical career as a member of The London Community Gospel Choir, and in 2003 he was part of the gospel choir that featured in the film Love Actually.
Career highlights include working with many artists, most recently performing with P!NK at the 2019 Brit Awards. He has also provided studio-recorded backing vocals for the many contestants each week on The X Factor UK. In 2010 he was proud to be asked to work with one of his favourite artists, Stevie Wonder, singing backing vocals for Wonder’s headlining appearance at Glastonbury’s Pyramid Stage and concerts in London’s Hyde Park and Manchester Arena.
Simon continues to perform live and in session, providing backing vocals and visuals for TV, studio albums, music videos and worldwide festivals for a variety of artists including: P!NK, Justin Timberlake, Ellie Goulding, Duffy, Beverly Knight and Nate James. He has been Marc Almond’s vocal ‘shadow’ and backing singer, touring and performing in concert venues and festivals around the world. He also had the privilege of singing on stage with Marc Almond’s Synth Pop group, Soft Cell, at the sell-out One Night, One Final Time concert at London’s 02 Arena. He is also director and lead vocalist of King's Voices.
Simon joined the cast of Dick Whittington at the Stag in 2018. He is delighted to have been invited back to spend another Christmas at the Stag Theatre.
