Simon began his musical career as a member of The London Community Gospel Choir, and in 2003 he was part of the gospel choir that featured in the film Love Actually.
Simon’s career highlights include providing studio-recorded backing vocals for the many contestants each week on both The X Factor UK and The X Factor US Live Shows. In 2010 he was proud to be asked to work with one of his favourite artists, Stevie Wonder, singing backing vocals for Wonder’s headlining appearance at Glastonbury's Pyramid Stage and concerts in London’s Hyde Park and Manchester Arena.
Simon continues to perform live and in session, providing backing vocals and visuals for many TV appearances, studio albums, music videos and worldwide festivals for a variety of artists including Justin Timberlake, Ellie Goulding, Duffy, Beverly Knight, Nate James, Elton John, Alt-J and Kamasi Washington to name just a few. He is Marc Almond’s vocal ‘shadow’ and backing singer touring and performing in concert venues and festivals around the world and has the privilege to sing on stage with Marc Almond's Synth Pop group, Soft Cell, at the sell-out One Night, One Final Time concert at London’s 02 Arena.
Simon is also director and lead vocalist of Kings Voices.
