This year, producers are holding open auditions for the lead role of Dick Whittington in Sevenoaks’ tenth anniversary pantomime.
Male and female performers aged 17yrs+, are invited to audition for the principal boy in this year’s spectacular family show. Whether you’re an experienced professional, recent graduate, West End veteran or untrained talent, you’re welcome to come along to the Panto Factor Open Auditions in September.
There’s no need to register, just come along to the Panto Factor Weekend, prepared to audition for our panel. If successful, you’ll be invited to return for a recall, and by the end of the weekend we’ll have found our newest panto star!

Frequently Asked Questions...
Can anyone audition?
Anyone aged 17yrs+ can audition for the role. Auditionees must be available for the full rehearsal period from 17 November, and for the full run of the production from 30 November - 7 January.
What should I prepare?
Please prepare sheet music for two songs, one musical theatre and one up tempo/pop. Please don’t bring backing tracks. Recallees will be asked to prepare a short scene, script provided.
How much will I be paid?
The total fully inclusive fee is £3,200 (£400 rehearsal, £550 week 1, £550 week 2, £550 week 3, £550 week 4, £600 week 5). The successful auditionee will sign the contract on Saturday 8 September. A draft copy of the contract will be provided in advance.
What publicity will I be involved in?
The successful auditionee must be available to take part in a photo call immediately after the audition. All auditions will be filmed, and elements of auditions will be used to promote the pantomime and the winner via online promotional films. All auditionees will need to sign a release form prior to their audition.
