Dick Whittington

2018/19 marked the tenth anniversary of professional pantomime in Sevenoaks with a spectacular production of Dick Whittington.

Over 20,000 people flock to the Stag’s annual pantomime every year, and after the previous record breaking production of Snow White, Britain’s Got Talent star Danny Beard returned to play the Spirit of London. One of Kent’s best loved children’s entertainers, Ant ’Silly Billy’ Payne, also returned to the Stag Theatre, along with Sevenoaks’ favourite baddie, Jasette Amos.

This panto was the only one in the country to feature a live Gospel Choir that includes a cast of world class singers, used to sharing a stage with the industry's biggest artists, from Stevie Wonder and Ed Sheeran, to Nicole Sherzinger and Demi Lovato. A fabulous five piece live band, and some of the world's most up to date theatre technology all helped to make this family pantomime one of the biggest and best in Kent.
